A serious train accident took place at 11 am in DD-MM-YY, about 10 km from Patna Junction in the state of Bihar. A train named Kolkata Rajdhani had a total of 13 coaches who were coming from Delhi and en route from Patna Junction to Kolkata, but the train derailed 10 km after Patna. A horrific train accident took place on the Delhi-Patna route at 9 pm on 8th November when two trains Magadh Express and Farakka Express collided at a distance of 20 km from Varanasi Junction. Due to both the trains being speedy, when the trains collided with each other, a total of 12 coaches derailed from the railway track and some coaches were badly damaged by overturning. Local people immediately started doing rescue operations at their level and alerted all the departments. Within some time, police, RPF and NDRF teams reached there and started the rescue operation. The bodies of many people were crushed and trapped inside the train, which was taken out with the help of cranes and cutters. Yesterday at 2 pm, a train and a car collided at a railway crossing in Ranchi. The accident happened in such a way that there was a traffic jam at the railway crossing and at the same time a train was coming, due to which the gate had to be closed, but a car got stuck on the railway track.
